Course Completion Requirements for CE Credit
To receive CE credit for the CIE On-Demand Course, participants must:
- Complete all Course Videos (Introduction through Lesson 15) within 6 months of purchase.
- Pass the post-course knowledge test with a score of 80% or higher. If you do not pass on your first attempt, you will be allowed to re-test two additional times. If you do not pass on your third attempt, you will not be eligible to claim CEs.
- Complete the course evaluation in its entirety.
Certificate Issuance
Certificates of Completion and digital badges will be issued within 30 days of course completion to participants who meet all requirements.
CIE LIVE VIRTUAL 2-DAY COURSE
When you register for this live course, you’ll secure your spot and gain access to all materials as they’re provided during and after the live course. Please read the following carefully to understand our refund and payment policies.

- Less than 48 hours before the course begins: Refunds are no longer available. However, you will still receive access to all course materials, including the full recording of the live sessions.

- Attend 100% of both live sessions (full instructional time); attendance for this training will be tracked through Zoom attendance report logs*.
*Records maintained by the organization, in accordance with ACE record-keeping standards, will be kept for seven years. - Participate in interactive discussions and Q&A (participants may ask questions verbally or via chat; questions will be addressed as time permits).
- Complete the course evaluation in its entirety.

POLICIES THAT APPLY TO ALL CIE COURSE FORMATS
The following policies apply to both the CIE On-Demand Course and the CIE Live Virtual 2-Day Course.

Grievance Policy
1. Purpose
This procedure aims to ensure fair and timely resolution of complaints from students enrolled in either the synchronous or asynchronous version of the Immigration Evaluation training course, Comprehensive Immigration Evaluations: Advanced Clinical Training in Conducting Mental Health Evaluations for Immigration Cases. Refund requests are handled according to the Refund Policies above.
2. Scope
This procedure applies to all complaints related to the course content, delivery, materials, or interactions with instructors or staff.
3. Complaint Submission
Students should submit complaints in writing via email to hello@immigrationevaltraining.com. The email should include the student's name, contact information, course enrollment details, and a clear description of the complaint.
4. Complaint Investigation
Upon receiving a complaint, the Continuing Education (CE) Director will acknowledge receipt within 3 business days.
The CE Director will initiate an investigation within 5 business days.
The investigation may involve:
- Reviewing relevant course materials and records.
- Interviewing the complainant and any relevant parties (e.g, staff).
- Consulting with subject matter experts if necessary.
In accordance with ASWB-approved staffing for this course, the CE Director and Social Work Consultant roles are held by the same person. To ensure objectivity and remove any possible perception of bias, a licensed social worker serving as an auxiliary consultant or an advisory committee of two or more behavioral health professionals will be engaged as needed for grievances related to social work continuing education. This arrangement was approved by ASWB and documented in our formal attestation.
The investigation will be completed within 15 business days of receiving the complaint.
5. Resolution
The CE Director, with input from the auxiliary consultant or advisory committee when engaged, will determine an appropriate resolution based on the investigation's findings.
Possible resolutions may include:
- Clarification or correction of course materials.
- Additional instruction or support.
- Refund of course fees.
- Other remedies deemed appropriate.
The CE Director will communicate the resolution to the complainant in writing within 5 business days of completing the investigation.
6. Confidentiality
All complaints and related information will be treated confidentially. Access to complaint records will be limited to individuals directly involved in the investigation and resolution process, including the auxiliary consultant or advisory committee when engaged. Information will only be shared with third parties if required by law or with the explicit consent of the complainant.
7. Record Keeping
All complaints, investigation records, and resolution details will be documented and maintained for a period of 7 years. Records will be stored securely to protect confidentiality.
Grievance information and resolutions will be reviewed by the CE Director and, when applicable, the auxiliary consultant or advisory committee and shared with relevant team members to improve future courses.
8. Modifications
This procedure may be modified as needed to ensure compliance with legal requirements, ethical standards, or best practices.
Any modifications will be communicated to students and instructors.
